What are some pieces of American literature that relate to the fall of the Berlin Wall?
The only book I'm aware of personally is titled "And the Wall Came Tumbling Down" and it is written by either David Fellton or Felton. I read part of it for a history project in 1996.

I need three reasons of how the revolution affected american literature. I have to write an essay on this, so please help.
I’ll just throw out some thoughts:
- Authors began to write about Great Britain in a mocking sense
- The revolution sparked patriotic writings of american authors (Common Sense, love for country stuff, etc.)

Does it have to be written by an American author? Must it be set in America? Are all of the characters Americans? Or do you believe that all works of American literature share certain values, themes, and ideals? What does “American literature” mean to you?
